Man Finds Intruder Has Been Living In Camper

   An Ethridge man reported to authorities in recent days that he went to check on his camper only to find an intruder had apparently been living there.

   The 71-year-old victim reported the incident through the Lawrenceburg Police Department. He stated that he had gone to 1530 Old Florence Road to check on his camper.

   As he approached, the victim stated that a white male was walking from the area of the driveway. When he asked about what he was doing there, the man told the victim he “was waiting for his ride.” The victim told officers that the man then left, walking south along Old Florence Road.

   According to the victim, he discovered damages when he inspected his camper. A pipe had been broken outside the camper, and a window had been damaged.

   When he looked inside, the victim discovered that someone had apparently been sleeping there. Officers believe the damaged window was the point of entry.
